Inside is all cosy corners and warm welcomes. Out back, there’s a beer garden made for long afternoons. The bar’s stocked with cask ales, crisp lagers, gins and wines. Whether you’re after a quick pint or a proper meal, this is one of the best pubs for food in Withington. No faff. No fuss. Just good value and great flavour. The menu changes with the season but sticks to the classics. Freshly made, well portioned, and served with pride. From midweek pub lunches to relaxed weekend dinners, it’s all covered. Sundays are a bit of a thing round here too. Roasts come with bottomless gravy, golden roasties and Yorkshire puddings you could build a house in. It gets busy, so booking is a smart idea.

Nothing truly beats a proper Sunday lunch, and it’s even better without the bother of cooking and cleaning. Sit back, relax and tuck into our traditional Sunday roasts, served with all the trimmings.
